Radco Leadership

Thomas Evans

Chief Financial Officer

Thomas Evans is the Chief Financial Officer at Radco Roofing, a position he has held since early 2026. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning to support the company’s growth and success.

Prior to joining Radco Roofing, Thomas worked in a similar role at General Microcircuits, the largest private PCB Assembly manufacturer in North Carolina and HarperLove Adhesives, the largest additive supplier focused solely on the corrugated adhesive market.  At both companies, Thomas arrived as the companies entered new markets and embarked on growth trajectories.  Interestingly, Thomas has been the first CFO at each company in his career.

Earlier in his career, Thomas taught school at Bugina Secondary School in Mudete, a small village in Western Kenya. After that he served as the General Manager of the Yadkin Valley Railroad which runs along the Yadkin River in the foothills of North Carolina. Thomas lives in Charlotte with his wife Leila. His hidden strength comes from his wife and two daughters Leila and Coleman.  All three of them enjoy reminding him of the good fortune he has received because he is surrounded by “Girl Power.” They, begrudgingly, put up with his Dad jokes.

Education Background

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History from Davidson College and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from UNC Chapel Hill. If Davidson is playing UNC in basketball, he roots for the Wildcats!

Summary

With over 25 years as a CFO, Thomas understands that a company grows when the team grows.  Sustained success requires the hard work and committed contributions of the group, otherwise it will not endure. His parents would remind him, “If you touch it, improve it. Don’t just fix it.”
