Professional Experience
Steve Trites serves as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Radco Roofing. Steve drives the company’s sales strategies and marketing initiatives, leveraging his extensive experience in the roofing industry to ensure a customized solution is provided for each customer’s unique needs. Currently Steve is also giving back to the roofing industry through his role as a member of the Board of Directors of the CRSMCA (Carolinas Roofing and Sheet Metal Association).
Prior to joining Radco, Steve was a Sales Manager at IPS Corporation. His leadership and strategic vision contributed to the expansion of the California based company’s market presence and sales growth on the East Coast.
Steve also held the position of Regional Sales Manager at CentiMark Corporation. He was responsible for commercial roofing and roof repair sales across the Mid-Atlantic. In the role of regional sales manager, Steve was solely responsible for achieving sales goals through the acquisition and development of an effective and knowledgeable sales staff.
At OMG Roofing Products, Steve performed in numerous roles. He started on the floor in the manufacturing plant at the headquarters in Massachusetts, moved into sales, and was promoted to Regional Sales Manager for a ten state area. Steve worked heavily with national accounts and led numerous initiatives focused on improving efficiencies, increasing sales and tapping new markets.
Earlier in his career, Steve was the Florida Area Sales Manager at Owens Corning, managing sales volume, market share, and profitability. He was also responsible for sales planning and projections as a part of the regional planning effort.
Steve’s career began in the United States Air Force, where he served in Civil Engineering. His military service laid a strong foundation for his disciplined approach to leadership and project management.
Steve has also had an impact on his community through his commitment to the Masons and Shriners and his many roles in youth leadership and coaching over the years.
